I’m looking to replace the front seats of the Pajero for something more confortable on longer road trips.
I’m looking for something confortable, nice looking, and preferably cheap. I’ve checked BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar and Landrover.
These here seem to be pretty decent, even though they’re a bit pricy. But I have no idea how good 7 series seats are.

Consider aftermarket seating from commercial vans like the KAB T1 or T4 probably anything from the 400 or 700 series - the KAB 414 suspension seat will fit in a Pajero. You may be able to turn something up on the used market...

This is exactly what I did in my El Camino. It has made a world of difference.

There are some interesting options, indeed.
I’d love to do a junkyard tour! I used to go pull parts with my dad, but with stricter pollution laws, most junkyards around here became fancy, and the parts are all pulled by workers and sold on ebay

Pick a Part here in the US sells their seats for $30-40 each.

I actually considered some ISRI seats (we have a plant locally) as my parents have one in their Sprinter, and they are amazing, but also quite pricey

This kind of junkyards pretty much died here. Most are ran by russians with several teams who dismantle the cars and sell the parts on the internet

German ebay seems to have S60 seats for around 100 Euro each.

Saab 9-5 seats - early ones. They’re incredible and should be easy to find.

Indeed...but they don’t have to be new. Have a yarn to a local motor trimmer or a commercial van fitout company. They may have something lying about that you can use.
